DIRECTIONS TO LAUNDE HOUSE
** please note that sat nav takes you to a house at the top of Launde Park !!
From the A1/A47:
From the A1, turn onto the A47 at Wansford. Follow the A47 towards Leicester. After going
through Glaston you come to a roundabout at Uppingham – go straight over and continue for approximately 6 miles (1
mile after Belton). The road widens into 2 lanes and shortly after this take the right hand turn signed to
East Norton. Follow the road through the village and on for 2 miles. You then come to Loddington – at
the T-junction in the middle of the village turn right. Follow this road for 2 miles, you will then go over a
cattle grid and then down a steep hill into Launde Park. At the bottom of the hill, you will have Launde
Abbey on your right, turn left here signed to Owston and Halstead. Go over the next cattle grid and Launde
House is the first House on the left.
Take the Leicester road out of Oakham towards Braunston. Go through Braunston and follow road
for approximately 2 miles. Take a left hand turn signed to Launde – after a mile go over a cattle grid, then
a second cattle grid (Launde Abbey will be on your left) – turn immediately right signed to Owston and Halstead. Go
over next cattle grid and Launde House is the first house on your left.
